Chaweng Beach

The epicentre of the action is the U-shaped Soi Green Mango in the central area of the resort. The first part of the soi has mostly indoor bars, while the second features more of the beer bar style. The solitary gogo, was GB Lounge, is at the top of the second soi. However there is now a new gogo, Dream Girls, near the entrance to the main soi. There's quite a bit of confusion over the name of the second soi, which is sometimes called Black Jack. But don't get bogged down in that, just get yourself along there and have fun.
In addition there is small bar area around the between the boxing stadium and The Reggae Pub.

Lamai Beach

Lamai is a fun area with plenty of places to wander around. With the recent closure of Lamai Night Plaza the epi centre of bars has moved to the central road (some call it Soi Kingmaico). There is a small loop that runs into Soi Samui Moon. Round the orner on the main street is the Bauhaus and a few more bars. Further up that road is are the round bars (Lady Boxing on Saturdays)
